Corteforte is owned by Carlo Cerrutti a very successful lawyer in Italy. Carlo has renovated this
14th Century property to include hotel accommodation and a restaurant Enoteca della Valpolicella.
Carlo has also built an underground cellar, this is an incredible investment when you
consider Corteforte only produce 20,000 bottles for the World.
Valpolicella Ripasso produces the largest quantity with 9,000 bottles.
Amarone is traditionally a high alcohol, masculine wine, however Corteforte is producing
wonderful wines with finesse and character. Silver Medal winner at the International Wine
Challenge.
Vigneti di Osan is a single vineyard Amarone, this wine expresses incredible power and depth.

The sweet wines are world class, having attained many international awards. Recioto
is one of the finest there is, this wine marriages wonderfully with chocolate. Amandorlato
has an almond taste due to the vines being grown next to almond trees. IL Sole is a more
traditional sweet wine - made with white grapes, wonderful freshness. Recommended at the
International Wine Challenge. Only 1000 bottles produced of IL Sole.
